Recreational Diving for Certified Divers

East of Chania’s harbour, approximately four nautical miles away, there is a great rocky area with turquoise crystal water and transparency of up to 30 metres called Agios Onoufrios. We can offer many diving options in this place, but the very best of all is including a diversity of cave and cavern diving. Divers will enjoy a picturesque setting, including the spectacular pink coral, as they experience many fascinating passageways and chambers, making these sites some of the most famous dives around the Chania area. The cave’s depths are from nine to twenty-one metres. Wall diving, deep diving, night diving, multi-level diving and drift diving are also available. Cave and Cavern Diving are our most impressive dives, and we offer these experiences to Open Water Divers. This diving experience starts around 9:00 am at the diving centre. We will bring you there from your hotel or a suitable meeting point. After finishing the required documentation, you will wear your dive suit and all the necessary equipment (masks, fins and the second dive tanks are waiting for you on the boat). You will have a briefing with your dive escort, check your equipment and load it into one of our speed-boat. There is a 20 – 25 minute boat ride to the selected diving spot.
